Originally founded by James Norman Warren in 1962, the company started as a two-man operation, doing repair and remodel work. By the early 1975, the business expanded and moved into new construction in residential and light commercial work, employing more than 15 workers and a full-time secretary.

During this time, Mr. Warren’s sons, Donald and Arthur Warren, who were qualified plumbers stepped into the business. In 1978, Mr. Warren retired, and his sons took over the company and continued its growth.

In 1992, Advance Plumbing expanded again, adding air conditioning and heating services. The company became Advance Plumbing Heating & Air, providing plumbing service, commercial construction and residential construction. Our growth enabled us to add residential and commercial HVAC services, as well as new installation in construction.

By 2003, the company employed 62 full-time employees, and was involved in all phases of plumbing, heating and air.

Today, the company is still family-owned and operated, and has now brought in another generation – and are continuing to expand. Advance Plumbing Heating & Air continues to grow and serve the Charleston metro area as well as other parts of the Tri-County area.
